Terms of Use

The terms governing use of the Remit Payment Solutions website.

Effective Date: July 26, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.remitpaymentsolutions.com and any pages, forms, features, content, or services made available through the website (collectively, the "Website").

The Website is owned and operated by Remit Payment Solutions LLC, doing business as Remit Payment Solutions ("Remit," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

1. Website Purpose

Remit provides information about payment-processing, merchant-services, payment technology, equipment, gateway, debit, ACH, and related business solutions.

The Website is intended to:

  • Provide general information about our services
  • Allow businesses to contact us
  • Help us understand a prospective merchant's payment-processing needs
  • Facilitate introductions to payment-processing, underwriting, acquiring, banking, gateway, equipment, and technology partners
  • Assist prospective merchants with beginning an application process

Information presented on the Website is for general informational and marketing purposes. It does not constitute a binding offer, approval, guarantee, or merchant-processing agreement.

2. Eligibility

The Website is intended for business owners, business representatives, and individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into agreements.

By using the Website on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of and bind that organization.

3. No Merchant Account Agreement

Accessing the Website, submitting a contact form, requesting information, receiving a consultation, or beginning an application does not automatically create a merchant account or contractual payment-processing relationship.

Any merchant-services relationship will be subject to:

  • A separate application
  • Identity and business verification
  • Underwriting and risk review
  • Applicable processing-partner requirements
  • Approval by the applicable processor, acquiring bank, financial institution, or other provider
  • Separate merchant, equipment, gateway, ACH, or service agreements

If these Terms conflict with a signed merchant agreement or another service-specific agreement, the signed agreement will control with respect to the services covered by that agreement.

4. Independent Merchant-Services Provider

Remit is an independent merchant-services provider. We may work with third-party processors, acquiring banks, financial institutions, gateways, equipment providers, software providers, and other payment-service partners.

Payment-processing services may be provided, underwritten, operated, funded, or supported by one or more third parties.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, Remit is not itself a bank, card network, acquiring bank, or financial institution.

5. Applications and Underwriting

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.

Applications may be approved, conditionally approved, delayed, or declined based on factors that may include:

  • Business type and industry
  • Products or services offered
  • Processing history
  • Transaction size and volume
  • Chargeback or refund history
  • Ownership and identity verification
  • Credit, banking, financial, or risk information
  • Card-network, banking, regulatory, and underwriting requirements
  • Information requested by the processing partner

You agree to provide complete, current, and accurate information during any inquiry or application process.

We and our processing partners may request additional documentation or clarification before an application can be reviewed or approved.

6. Pricing, Rates, and Savings

Any rates, fees, equipment pricing, savings estimates, comparisons, or projected processing costs presented on the Website or discussed before underwriting are estimates unless confirmed in a written agreement.

Actual pricing may depend on factors such as:

  • Business type
  • Processing volume
  • Average transaction amount
  • Card types and transaction methods
  • Chargeback risk
  • Equipment and software requirements
  • Gateway or platform selection
  • Underwriting results
  • Interchange, card-network, bank, processor, and third-party fees

We do not guarantee that every merchant will qualify for a particular rate, pricing structure, equipment offer, approval, or level of savings.

Merchants are responsible for reviewing all applications, pricing schedules, program guides, equipment terms, and processing agreements before signing.

7. Website Content

We attempt to keep Website information accurate and current. However, payment-processing services, partner requirements, equipment, technology, pricing, regulations, and industry practices may change.

We do not warrant that Website content is always complete, accurate, current, or free from errors.

We may modify, remove, update, or discontinue Website content or features at any time without notice.

Nothing on the Website constitutes legal, tax, accounting, compliance, banking, financial, or professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional regarding your specific circumstances.

8. Your Responsibilities

When using the Website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Use the Website only for lawful business purposes
  • Protect any passwords or access credentials provided to you
  • Avoid submitting information that you do not have authority to provide
  • Review all agreements before signing or accepting services
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, card-network rules, and contractual requirements
  • Notify us if you become aware of unauthorized or improper use of the Website

You are responsible for determining whether our services and the services of our partners are appropriate for your business.

  • Use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive purposes
  • Provide false, misleading, incomplete, or impersonated information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, servers, systems, or data
  • Introduce viruses, malware, malicious code, or harmful technology
  • Interfere with the Website's operation, performance, or security
  • Circumvent security, authentication, or access-control measures
  • Scrape, copy, harvest, or extract Website content or data through automated means without permission
  • Use bots or automated systems to submit forms or create excessive requests
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to discover the Website's source code
  • Use Website content to create a competing or misleading service
  • Misrepresent an affiliation with Remit or any of our partners
  • Use the Website to violate another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or legal rights

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

10. Contact Forms and Communications

When you submit a contact form, request a consultation, or provide contact information, you authorize Remit to contact you regarding your inquiry, requested services, or application.

We may respond by telephone, email, or another method you provide.

Submitting a general inquiry does not require you to apply for services or enter into a merchant agreement.

Marketing communications, where used, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and available opt-out rights.

11. Electronic Communications

By using the Website or submitting information electronically, you consent to receive communications, disclosures, notices, and records electronically where permitted by law.

Electronic communications may include email messages, Website notices, application updates, disclosures, agreements, or documents provided through a processing partner's platform.

You are responsible for providing a current email address and maintaining the equipment and software necessary to access electronic communications.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

Merchant application information may also be collected, processed, retained, and disclosed by our processing partners under their own privacy notices, agreements, underwriting requirements, and legal obligations.

Do not submit full payment-card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, banking credentials, or similarly sensitive information through a general contact form unless the form specifically requests the information and provides an authorized secure submission method.

13. Intellectual Property

The Website and its original content, including its text, graphics, logos, icons, designs, page layouts, images, videos, software, and branding, are owned by or licensed to Remit and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Remit Payment Solutions and associated branding may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, displayed, or used without prior written permission.

We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, and nontransferable right to access and use the Website for lawful internal business purposes.

This permission does not allow you to:

  • Resell Website content
  • Reproduce substantial portions of the Website
  • Remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices
  • Use our branding in a way that suggests an unauthorized relationship
  • Create derivative commercial materials from Website content

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

14. Feedback

You may voluntarily provide suggestions, comments, ideas, or other feedback regarding the Website or our services.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we may use nonconfidential feedback to improve our Website, services, operations, or marketing without compensation or obligation to you.

This section does not give us ownership of personal information or confidential merchant application information.

15. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may link to or integrate with websites, applications, portals, services, or platforms operated by third parties.

Third-party services may include processors, banks, gateways, equipment providers, application platforms, scheduling tools, analytics providers, and other technology providers.

We do not control and are not responsible for:

  • Third-party content
  • Availability or performance
  • Privacy or security practices
  • Pricing or fees
  • Approval decisions
  • Contract terms
  • Products or services

Your use of a third-party service is governed by that third party's terms, policies, and agreements.

A link or integration does not necessarily constitute an endorsement of every product, statement, or practice of the third party.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Remit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding the Website, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Website will always be available or uninterrupted
  • The Website will be free from errors, viruses, or harmful components
  • Website information will always be complete or current
  • A merchant application will be approved
  • A particular processor, rate, fee, product, service, or equipment option will be available
  • Use of our services will produce a particular financial or business result

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remit and its owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Website
  • Reliance on Website content
  • Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, or goodwill
  • Unauthorized access to information
  • Website errors, interruptions, or security incidents
  • Third-party websites, services, products, decisions, or conduct
  • Merchant application or underwriting decisions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Remit's total liability arising from or related to the Website will not exceed $100.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory asserted and even if we were advised that damages were possible.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain liability limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

18. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Remit and its owners, officers, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

  • Your misuse of the Website
  • Information or materials you submit
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law
  • Your infringement of another person's rights
  • Fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized conduct associated with your use of the Website

This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Remit's own unlawful conduct where indemnification is prohibited by law.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Website at any time when reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect the Website or its users
  • Prevent fraud or misuse
  • Address a security risk
  • Comply with a legal requirement
  • Enforce these Terms
  • Discontinue the Website or a feature

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, indemnification, dispute, and general-contract provisions.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any lawsuit or legal proceeding arising from or related to the Website or these Terms must be brought in the applicable state or federal court located in Pinellas County, Florida, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically.

Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes become effective when posted unless another effective date is stated.

Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Material changes affecting an existing merchant relationship may also be governed by the applicable merchant or service agreement.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or removed as necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

23. Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only if made in writing by an authorized representative of Remit.

24. Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset transfer, financing, or similar business transaction.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Remit regarding use of the Website.

They do not replace or modify any separately signed merchant-processing, equipment, gateway, ACH, referral, or service agreement.
